If you want to live until you’re a hundred years old, check these tips from Dan Buettner, the author of the book, “The Blue Zones: Lessons for Living Longer From the People Who’ve Lived the Longest”.

Buettner has done his own share of traveling around the world. He has researched about societies where people seem to lead longer lives. What is emphasized here is that you don’t have to live in any of the Blue Zones to do this.

Canadian Living discusses Jeanne Calment, the Frenchwoman who was noted to be the world’s oldest person. She died in 1997 at the age of 122. They say that her longevity was most likely the effect of her love for life. She took fencing lessons at 85, and rode a bike when she was 100.
