About one percent of the global population has autism. In the United States alone, 1 in 68 children has been diagnosed with it.  Symptoms can be noticed as early as two years of age.

If you’re suffering from depression, it’s better if you go for natural ways to ease your feelings instead of relying on pills, as they may have other harmful side effects other than increasing chances of autism. For instance, there are support groups and counselling available that will help depressed people. You can also increase your daily time for exercise as it triggers your body’s happy hormones. And of course, a healthy, balanced diet is another answer.
