You have the tendency to build an imbalanced chest if you overemphasize on your lower pecs while flat pressing. It’s ideal to perform most pressing exercises from 15-45 degrees (with the exception of the occasional pump set).

Another tip is to train explosively. You need to turn on your muscles for a wild ride in order to maximize your muscle growth capacity. The more muscle fibers you stimulate, the more you let your muscles grow.
