There are so many reasons to discover kohlrabi. Aside from the health benefits mentioned, it also helps boost eye and bone health.
You can buy kohlrabis at the grocery store or farmers market. The farmers market will provide organic produce that is fresher and more delicious. They’re available all year round, but they are best around mid July to mid November.
To store, separate the bulb from the leaves, and then put them in the fridge. You have to put the leaves in a zip-lock plastic bag, where they will remain fresh for a few days. On the other hand, the bulb needs loose container, and it can last for weeks.
