A recent study reported that feline parasite may cause schizophrenia – a mental illness that affects over 26 million people, usually among young adults, worldwide. People with schizophrenia experience troubles in communication and mentality. Even their sense of self is affected, especially when they undergo delusions and psychotic experiences.

The best thing to do to avoid feline parasite affecting your brain is to ensure that your cats, even their litter box, are always clean. Don’t let them out of the house! Additionally, do not feed them with raw meat as it’s most likely to have the parasite toxoplasmosis.
Pregnant women and people who have weak immune systems are particularly at risk, so be careful!
