Processed foods are bad for the health as they contain harmful additives that have been shown to cause chronic diseases and conditions like cardiovascular disease, hypertension, type 2 diabetes, obesity, and certain types of cancers. Examples of these additives are salt, bad fats, artificial colours and flavours, and more.
What about meat? Should you stop eating processed meat, such as bacon, ham and chorizo?

So, should you stop eating processed meat? The answer is yes. They contain added salt, sugar, spices, among other ingredients that enhance their taste, and make their shelf-life longer. Don’t be tempted, that bacon you’re eating is delicious possibly because of the processing technique it underwent.
Processed foods in general are bad for your health as they have been altered from their natural state, which means a lot of artificial ingredients were added. We highly suggest you stick to whole and raw foods, mostly fruits and vegetables to keep your body clean.
