It’s amazing how coffee can be a life-saver, and how just a cup can brighten your day in an instant. Even the decaf version may have positive effects. If you’re an athlete or a bodybuilder, the black one is especially good for you as it helps support gains.
Note, though, that this is the pure one, not the processed one that contains added sugar and all those harmful additives.
The cutoff is three to five cups a day. Six cups and above may cause more harm than good, so don’t risk it! It may cause depression, increase risk of heart attacks for young adults with mild hypertension, and more. You may also have to avoid drinking caffeine at night as it will disrupt your sleep.
